COMMUNITY-WIDE ROAD PAVING PROJECT

A reserve study ordered by the HOA board of directors and conducted in 2024 identified various long-term projects that will be funded through the reserves that have been, and will continue to be, built each year as part of the budgetary process.  

The first project BME will engage in is road crack repairs, surface re-paving (sealcoating), and re-lining of all parking areas throughout the community.  That project has been negotiated with Pioneer Paving for a total of $32,400, and includes crack repairs, surface re-paving, and re-lining all parking and handicapped parking areas within the community.  Below is a schedule of work to be completed.  Please keep in mind that all outdoor work is weather dependent, so dates may change based on weather delays.

ALL RESIDENTS, PLEASE NOTE:  IF YOU MUST DRIVE OUT OF THE COMMUNITY ON THE DAY YOUR ZONE IS SCHEDULED TO BE RE-PAVED, PLEASE MOVE YOUR CAR OUT OF YOUR ZONE AND PARK IT IN ANOTHER AREA OF THE COMMUNITY BEFORE 8:00 AM ON THE DAY YOUR STREET WILL BE COMPLETED.  YOU MAY PARK IN GUEST PARKING SPOTS (NOT IN YOUR WORK ZONE), AND ALONG THE CURB SIDE OF OTHER STREETS IN THE COMMUNITY.  IF THERE IS NO CURB, PARK IN THE TRAFFIC CIRCLE.  PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT BLOCK ANY DRIVEWAY THAT IS OPPOSITE OF WHERE YOU PARK.  ALSO, PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK ACCESS TO ANY FIRE HYDRANTS.

THE EMERGENCY GATE ON CHURCH STREET NEAR UNIT 100 MUST BE USED BY ALL WHO WISH TO ENTER/EXIT OUR COMMUNITY WHILE THE FRONT ENTRANCE (YELLOW ZONE) IS BEING ADDRESSED ON OCTOBER 18 (OR POSSIBLY OCTOBER 17, DEPENDING ON PROGRESS)

THERE WILL BE NO RECYCLE OR TRASH COLLECTIONS DURING THE WEEK OF PAVING.

SCHEDULE OF WORK:

Wed., October 15:  BLUE Zone - Homes 92-120 and 139-148

Thurs., October 16:  PINK Zone - Homes 44-60; 65-91; 121-138

Fri., October 17:  GREEN Zone - Homes 1-43; 61-64

Sat., October 18:  YELLOW Zone - Entrance on James Way up to 1st stop sign and 4-way intersection near Clubhouse

While there will be some inconvenience as this project is progressing, please keep in mind that this work is "TEMPORARY" and necessary to properly maintain the infrastructure of our community as well as enhance the aesthetic appearance of Bayport Meadow Estates.
