MAJOR SNOWSTORM/BLIZZARD IS FORECAST FOR JANUARY 25-26, 2026

Dear Residents,

It appears that we may be in the path of another major snowstorm/blizzard beginning on Sunday and continuing into Monday.

The gates will be opened later on Saturday and will remain open until it is safe to close them again.

As you already know, no vehicles should be parked on the street.

Four D will be on the ready, but please remember that they will not plow the streets until after 2” has accumulated, and they will not begin shoveling sidewalks, unit walkways, and driveways until the storm has ended, sometime on Monday.  It may be several hours after the storm ends until your unit is shoveled and snow is cleared.  Also, please be aware that the more snow that accumulates, the more time-consuming and difficult it becomes to relocate it to areas within the community.

With this in mind, please be prepared in advance with several days' worth of food and water supplies, batteries, candles, etc., as it is possible that power outages may occur with this storm.

In addition, we have suggested that you have on hand a personal supply of ice-melt for areas around your unit that may be extra icy even after clearing of snow has occurred.  There are certain brands of ice-melt that are magnesium based which is less damaging than salt and safer for pets.  They are listed below:

Safe Step Sure Paws Ice Melter - available at ACE Hardware and others

Road Runner Pet Friendly Ice Melt - available at AutoZone and others

Just For Pets Snow and Ice Melter - available at Walmart

As always, please be safe and storm-ready; and if you need assistance, reach out to Gigi, the board, or your neighbors.

The board appreciates your understanding and patience during these challenging weather events.

Sincerely,

HOA Board
